Robotics

Robotics Club is a team competition club that has two seasons.
In the fall season, students attend an intro meeting the second week of school where we explain what Robotics entails and that students are required to meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-5:00 p.m. Students then try out to join the club and become a select group of students that are placed in teams to compete in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge competitions.  Students will be using Lego SPIKE Prime robots and programming.  Students work together to understand complex problems presented, envision possibilities, and develop innovative solutions to solve current scientific technological needs of the world. Meetings in the fall are in Room 22 Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-5:00 p.m.
In the spring season, any student may join the first week the season starts and students will be placed in teams that compete in off-season competitions such as Spring Showdown. Spring Showdown is similar to the previous fall Challenge competition, but with several new twists.  Meetings in the spring are in Room 22 Thursdays from 2:45-4:30 p.m.
