8th Grade U.S. History covers the colonization of the Americas, the Revolutionary War, the Constitution, the Industrial Revolution, westward expansion, the Civil War, Reconstruction and modern industrial movements to pre-WWI. One of our goals is to have students connect the historic events, presidents, and politics of the past with the events in our world today. Eight grade students will also have the opportunity to participate in Civil War Day, a close up look at the life during the Civil War.
